Briefly: iPhone used to track Boston Bombers, Pantone iPad cases

Stolen iPhone used in Boston Bomber tracking

According to several recent news reports, an iPhone's GPS chip was used to help track the Boston Bombers to Watertown. Time, the New York Times, and Boston.com all have reported that after the bombing the two suspects stole a Mercedes and proceeded to flee the crime. However, what the thieves didn't realize is that the car itself was equipped with an mbrace tracking system and that an active iPhone had been left inside. None of the sources directly mention Find My iPhone, but it is likely that the device finding service played a part in the location of the stolen car.

This is a great addition to your Suunto heart rate monitor. It is very easy to set up and easier to use. It stays in contact with your monitor at all times. The provided handlebar mount works well. I would imagine it could flex to fit almost any handlebar.

This coffee grinder has met my needs. It is compact, which is important for my small kitchen, and it works well. The beans will sometimes stop feeding when the hopper gets low, but since I have been keeping it fuller I haven't had any problems. Kudos to Zappos, too: they delivered the product to my door 20 hours after I placed my order! Well done!

Viking Hand Blender Chopper Attachment

It has a major flaw. The blender on its own is just great, but the chopper attachment has a major flaw. It does its job pretty well, i.e. chopping up and acting like a pretty good food processor. But, the top cover is not designed right. Water gets into it after you wash it. And there is no way for the water to come out. My husband now made two holes on the cover so that the water is not retained inside any more. If not, the old, dirty water seeps out gradually and may come out to the new food in your next blending process! Yuk! I'm surprised that the manufacturer didn't think about this problem when designing this product!
